Background & Experience
Shae Cox has over five years’ experience in the commercial real estate industry – in property management and commercial brokerage. She has completed office and industrial leases, collected rent from tenants, managed commercial construction, developed rent roll spreadsheets, purchased advertising, and actively participated in the sale of a large mobile home park. Recently she successfully made the jump to NAI El Paso - a rapidly growing commercial brokerage operating in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico; El Paso, Texas; and Santa Theresa, New Mexico.
Shae has proven to be a high energy, fast learner who accomplished all of the above after a successful career owning and training quarter horses. She is the youngest trainer to win a $423,000 Futurity in Louisiana. The proven ability to handle temperamental racehorses demonstrates that Shae has several of the natural abilities necessary to be successful in the world of commercial real estate investment.
She also wholesaled commercial electricity in Texas and Oklahoma in deregulated markets, receiving an award as top salesperson in 2012; and sold Health and Life Insurance for three years as well. All of the above was accomplished since she graduated from High School ten years ago (and she was winning awards in business activities while still in High School.)
Doug Derrick is the Broker for NAI El Paso and Louis Edwards is the Qualifying Broker at NAI 1st Valley - both are commercial real estate brokerages. Doug states: “We were fortunate to recruit Shae and believe that she has a bright future in commercial real estate.” “Anyone who meets Shae Cox will know that she will work hard for her clients and produce results when many other brokers would give up” adds Edwards.
Currently, Ms. Cox is licensed as a Real Estate Salesperson in Texas and an Associate Broker in New Mexico and has listings that reflect her background in equestrian and agricultural experience.
